PRAYER CHAIN LIST - INSTRUCTIONS

PURPOSE: The purpose of Bristol Bible Chapel’s Prayer Chain is to request immediate prayer for urgent, life-threatening situations or traumatic events
such as an accident, emergency surgery, and death in the family, etc. Most of the non-emergency prayer needs can be addressed on Sunday mornings,
during weekday meetings or on prayer nights. We are also at liberty to call anyone on the list to pray with us about personal needs or concerns.

HOW TO PUT A CALL ON THE PRAYER CHAIN:

Contacting Ron or Jean Russell will initiate calls to the prayer chain. They in turn will call the persons listed at the top of the three columns of
the list. If, for some reason, Ron or Jean cannot be reached during an emergency, please take the initiative and call the names at the top of the
three columns.

When you receive a call, you should immediately call the name on the list below yours, accurately conveying to that person the message you received.

If you cannot reach the person on the list below your name, bypass that person and go on to the next name until you finally reach someone. It is
very important to do this in order not to break the prayer chain!

Also note that:

•	If you get an answering machine, it is all right to leave the prayer message on the machine, but you must also keep going down the list to
the next name until you reach a live person.
•	You are responsible for continuing to try to contact the person(s) you had to bypass so that everyone will receive the message.

•	If the line is busy, please remain faithful in calling back, making every effort not to forget. If the line remains busy for a long period
of time, consider bypassing that name and go onto the next name on the list.
•	After passing the message, remember to pray fervently for the request!
